Coaching License Info
Required for Coaches Starting Fall 2020UpdatedWednesday January 29, 2020 byMedia - RHSC.
Starting Fall 2020, ALL COACHES (Head/Assistant Coaches, Intramural and Travel) will need to be officially licensed through US Soccer. The process of obtaining the license includes training to make coaches equipt with the skills and ideas to coach youth soccer as well and provide an opportunity for coaches feel prepared and confident in their coaching abilites. Due to this league regulation, coaches who have not complete the license will not be able to field a team in the fall, league wide.
Coaching License Steps
Red Hook Soccer Club has obtained three dates for the in-person course that will be held at Red Hook High School in hopes of making it more convient. Coaches are not required to attend a local session, but can sign up and attend any in-person course that is found in the "Available Courses" section of the Grassroots License section. Rockland and Orange areas do have courses that are availble sooner.

About the In-Person, Field Course
All courses will start at 9am and last until approximatley 1pm (two hours in the classroom, and two hours on the field). Since coaching lcasses are small (max 14 participants), we anticipate they will fill up quickly. You will register for the in-person course when signing up for the online course (reminder online course need to correspond with the course you take in person- 7v7, 9v9 or 11v11).
For questions regarding the US Soccer license process, contact vptravel@redhooksoccer (travel coaches) or email@example.com (intramural coaches). We thank you in advance for cooperating with this new league regulation and more importantly thank all of our coaches in the effort to keep soccer in our community. Thank you.
Please remember that due to this league regulation, coaches who have not complete the license will not be able to field a team in the fall, league wide.
